Spectacular Performance, Poor Song Arrangement
The warm up bands were decent at most to start with. Over two hours were played by the three opening bands together. The video work and light show by Paul Stanley and the group were outstanding, but the song choices left me unsatisfied. Many of the songs played were unfamiliar to me. Detroit Rock City, the highlight song, came just before the encore, which was too late. They should have included their most popular songs like Rock and Roll All Night, Made for Loving You, and Beth much earlier in the setlist. I would definitely watch them perform again, but it would have to be with another headline band, like they did with Ted Nugent a few years ago. Their previous concert with Ted Nugent was absolutely amazing and one of the top shows I've witnessed.
